Someone called into my show today with an interesting situation: she's fallen in love with a man who is the opposite of her "type" in every way. She's Midtown, he's Brooklyn. She's six-figures, he's government-payroll. Yet, somewhere in the middle of all the details, she thinks she's found true love.

I met with my wedding planner yesterday, and she told me about a young couple she was working with. The bride-to-be is an up-and-coming journalist, and her fiance is an aspiring director. In her mind, I'm sure he's the next Steven Spielberg.
